Ω-Obsession-Ω

As the scalding hot water hit her skin she started to turn red, a sign that her skin was not taking to the hot water on it. However, she could not help it, the scalding water felt like it was killing all the germs on her and that made her feel better. Looking over her shoulder at him her eyes glittered less and less till it became clear that she was breaking apart on the inside. “…What….what if I am diseased?” she asked, worry in her voice as it finally cracked and she crumpled to the shower floor.

Raphael silently watched the water practically boil Bryana alive but he didn't say anything. He had never been a victim of assault but he knew enough to know that it was hard for the victim to feel "clean" afterwards so he could only imagine that this was what she was going through right now, trying to be "clean." Then he was shocked and he quickly got down behind her. Raphael's arms went around Bryana and he held her close, trying to be as comforting as he could be in such a situation. "A lot of those can be cured, besides, I doubt the man had too many lovers in his life if he had to resort to that," he stroked Bryana's hair and back. "It'll be all right; you'll be o.k."

Leaning back into him her eyes quickly turned red as she continued to cry, sobs escaping her as she ran her hands over his arms. She felt safe with him because he saved her, he rescued her both times from the lunatics and she, she just didn’t think she could stand to be alone right now. She wanted her roommate to be home but she knew that girl would not be home for a very long time probably.
“But…but what of AIDS, HIV, or other ones – ones that can’t be cured?” Bryana asked, near desperate in her search for relief. She felt so dirty, so demolished about all that happened that her heart was shattering as they spoke.
“Raph….” She whimpered, closing her eyes.
